Asher Freeman Made A Golden Snitch Engagement Ring Box

The Golden Snitch Engagement Ring Box is a special art piece made by Freeman Design, a professional goldsmith and jewellery boutique located in Auckland, New Zealand.

Asher Freeman, the founder of Freeman Design was inspired by Harry Potter when creating the engagement ring box. He holds a Diploma of Goldsmithing with high distinction from Peter Minton’s Goldsmith School.

The Snitch was made out of Sterling Silver with a thick coating of 18 carat Yellow Gold. The Snitch is also equipped with wings which are plated in an extra thick coating of Rhodium.

The design was made with the help of 3D computer modeling, which is then 3D-printed and cast in Sterling Silver using Lost Wax Casting Process.

The phrase ‘I Open at the Close’ and the name of the lucky recipient in it are hand engraved, while the catch and internal mechanisms are handmade.

Freeman put an over 30 hours of attention-grabbing hand work and scrutiny to ensure everything is finished to the highest standards.

But words cannot describe what is so special about the Golden Snitch Engagement Ring Box created by Asher Freeman. Some pictures and video are absolutely much better in telling more stories.
