Like it or not, Google has been part of our internet life. The positive things are it has many features that are useful. Its search engine and Gmail could be some that we use mostly.
But have you ever noticed that Google has a technology to record our behaviour as well as our browsing history?
If you’d prefer to keep your privacy to your own, here are a few steps to delete Google History and Data.
To delete all activities:
- Login to your Google account if you haven’t yet
- Go to Google’s My Activity page
- Click on the three dots on the top of the page and select ‘Delete activity by’. You can also find the button on the left side of the page.
- After the page is loaded, under ‘Delete by Date’ option, select ‘All Time’.
- Click on Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion.
To delete based on time period:
- Login to your Google account if you haven’t yet
- Go to Google’s My Activity page
- Click on the three dots on the top of the page and select ‘Delete activity by’. You can also find the button on the left side of the page.
- After the page is loaded, under ‘Delete by Date’ option, select the date range you want to remove your data.
- Click on Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion.
You can also delete based on other relevant information such as: Location History, Device Information, Google Play Sound Search History, YouTube ‘Not interested’ Setting, Google Assistant Activity and Google Ads Setting. You can find all these settings under ‘Other Google Activity’ button.
