Receiving emails on your iPhone is one thing we do a couple of times each day. It is a good thing as we are now able to check, read and write or send email on the go.
But, there’re also a little inconvenience accompanying in email communication with your iPhone. Since the iPhone storage is relatively limited whatever the capacity is, continue receiving emails without deleting unused emails will flood the storage.
Unused emails are usually come in the form of junk mail, email newsletter from companies or brands and also, our own communication emails but a lot less important to keep.
iOS Mail app on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch makes this work surprisingly easy. Here are the steps to remove or delete your messages in bulk using iOS Mail:
- Open the iOS Mail app.
- Tap the Edit button on the top right corner of your iPhone.
- Tap all emails you wish to delete. You can tap anywhere on each message.
- Make sure the check mark appear on the left side of each message.
- If you want to cancel message selection or uncheck the message, just tap it once more to deselect.
- After you’ve finished making selection, tap ‘Trash’ to delete them.
If you want the iOS Mail app to learn which ones are junk mails, tap on Mark > Move to Junk. Your future similar emails will automatically go to junk folder.
In addition, you can also move some messages to another folder by tapping on Move and select the folder you wish to move them to.
