One of the little-known perk of being a UPS truck driver is getting to know people along the route. That’s including the customers, strangers on the road or even furry, tail-wagging buddies.
And that’s the daily routine experienced by Sean McCarren, a 17-year UPS veteran who made a Facebook page called UPS Dogs that features photos of dogs (and sometimes, cats) that he and the other UPS drivers meet along their delivery schedule each day.
The Facebook page that was created five years ago has been the place where nation-wide network of UPS drivers post their adorable photos that make their daily works much more happier.
The UPS drivers will send their photos to McCarren which will be shared to the page when he has free time. Here are some of the UPS Dogs all-star contributors.
“Katie Newhouser, Scott Hodges, Tommy Mathis, Matt Cathell, Kim Gowatch, Jeff Skender, Amanda Morellas, Sabah Baird, Kim Johnson, Bo Nelson, Julie Martin, Scott Duquette, Gina Cribbs, Sue Whittaker, Barbara Greene, Keith Wyatt, Gary Resedez, Elliot Sweig, Anthony lapenta, Beth Morgan, and many more.”
And you might wonder if the corporate acknowledge the group but yes it approves the group.
“Yes, we are aware of that site. It’s a good example of the relationships our employees build with their customers, two- or four-legged,” a UPS spokesperson told BuzzFeed.
Here are some of the pictures. If you wish to look for more, you may want to follow the UPS Dogs Facebook Page.
