When an artist is able to blend his imagination with reality, his art becomes limitless and he is able to create harmonious work of art. This has been growing inside the creative senses of the Greek artist, Teodosio Sectio Aurea.
Aurea, who has created a variety of art forms that include painting and shadow art, has came out with another innovative approach that could restructure our perception of unused objects and recycle them into a fantastic artworks!
The project contains a series of human heart sculptures that are created by recycling only unused materials such as old electrodes, sheet metal, ball bearings, spare car parts, electrical equipment, and other old objects you can imagine! It is a collection of geometric and mechanical heart sculptures.
Aside of breathing new life to unused items, the sculptures are full of unique details and have high aesthetic value. It is the art of recycling.
Geometric and mechanical hearts – sculptures and paintings by Teodosio Sectio Aurea will be displayed at the Atrium of the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center from Wednesday, October 4, 2017 till Friday, November 3, 2017. The exhibition titled “He[art] touch” is organized as part of the celebratory events for World Heart Day. So, set your heart free and let the artist’s imagination take you on a new journey!
